Idea: Unit Cap

If there's one thing I disliked most about footies, it was being able to turtle in your base making 15,000 units until someone tries to fight you, loses, then you just mass-send.

So, I'm proposing a unit cap. One that is set at the beginning of the game. I'm thinking 30/40/50/60/75.

Any thoughts?

I agree that there should be a unit cap. Turtleing is quite annoying and a unit cap could reduce the chances of lag?

Yeah and if you go afk you get a load of units that will just feed someones overpowered hero. (the immo cloack should be nerfed as well)

Maybe you should start with a unit cap, and then there should be some sort of way to increase your unit cap, like buying a larger cap, unit cap increases with tiers, or the unit cap increases over time.

The whole Unit Cap, which is good idea, brings up another guestion.

Whether or not should lower-level units be upgraded to the higher tier with the base? If they aren't, i feel like they would be killed in some situations, if not only to enforce lower amount of units and to get better units within the cap.

Fire: It would indeed reduce the chance of lag.

Sniper: There won't be an Immolation Cloak. It's a piece of shit item that is overrused and overpowered.

Mooo: I was thinking of changing the cap with tiers, maybe +5 per tier. Or something to that effect.

Amadi: I think we should make an option where, when your base upgrades a tier, you're given the option to instantly kill all lower-tier units owned by you, to reduce farming and make way for the new units.

We haven't seen amadi in awhile but people have lifes so he's proablely just doing shit.

Indeed. I used to disappear from games for up to two months at a time because I had to do stuff or managed to do something that might keep me from playing the game. I'll probably be gone pretty often, seeing as how my arm is doing better now.
