Tragedy for BFaC

Post by darkwulfv on Thu May 21, 2009 4:56 pm

So, anyone who's logged on in the last ~24 hours has probably noticed that Clan BFaC is gone. For unknown reasons, the clan no longer exists.

As a result, I'll be trying my best to rebuild the clan. We probably won't get any of the old non-hardcore members, but that's okay. I guess in a way this is a new beginning. We can recruit people who will be active on the site and be interested in what's going on.

For a common place to discuss and hang out, in replacement of our clan channel, join channel "ruins of bfac".

Hope we can get things back up and running.
~Dark

On a slightly more positive note, I'd like to see some aesthetic changes come to the site. I'm thinking changing the icons from wolf paws to something different. Any ideas? Anyone who would like to donate icons they've made are more than welcome. Since Clan BFaC has become more general-game orientated, I'd like to shift away from "We are Clan BFaC aka Wolf Packs Alpha" and more to just "We are Clan BFaC".

I will be setting up a stealth-bot in this channel in 20-30 minutes to keep people up to date with the current progress.

Cannot set up due to new warden system.

Good news! It's fixed. With the help of many kind souls and some patience, we got the clan back up. I'll be on as often as possible to re-accept people into the clan.

Clan's back up already? Huh, that was a LOT quicker than I thought, and I'm just seeing this topic for the first time. O_o

We seriously need to get into recruiting, and FAST. Myre, Mooo, Fighter, that's your job. Go host SOMETHING and drag people in. If I could say "Host WC", I would, but the new patch is going to break it, so I can't.

Um... you do know how hard it is to recruit someone when theres nobody around. They look around, see nobody but the shammy and feel the clan is inactive, then change their whole mind about the thing.

WTF is WC? And Mooo is right. Seeing a room with no one but the leader is rather discouraging.

WC == Warring Clans

And I know it's disheartening, but think about it: If we have few members to begin with, how are we expected to have a ton of people roaming around our clan channel? =P

Do your best, I trust in you guys.

No, you'd use Wc3 or Wc, since the 'c' isn't capitalized.
